Peeking in Windows

Tom and I took a walk as the sun went down to peek into people's windows at their Christmas decorations. If you are in Oxford, then Western Road is clearly the place to be with several houses all attempting to outclass each other on the lights front, but in a very tasteful way (no inflatable Santas here). They even had ropes of lights from house to house across the road, and were trying to get more mounted as we walked past.

It was a nice opportunity to just chat with Tom in a way we don't normally do at home - no screens or headphones on this walk.

After peeking in other's houses we got back to our own and peeked in there too to see a fire laid ready to be lit, the tree illuminated with presents around it, food aplenty for our Christmas Eve feast and my older son waiting to welcome us home.
