Westhaven Beach on Christmas Day

6.8C starting bright then clouding over with some short showers. Windy.

Merry Christmas !

Around midnight on Christmas Eve the wind seemed to get up even more so I checked the Met Office data for Leuchars this morning and sure enough gusts of 67 mph were recorded. Lively ! The wind has settled down a bit today.

After lunch Apothecary7, Maeve the Deehound and I went for a walk. We followed the usual route of bridle path, beach, and back round by the main road. The tide was beginning to come in when we were on the beach and lots of sand and rocks were visible. It felt very windy as we walked along the hard sand. Maeve had her warm coat on and we were well wrapped up too.

Soon there will be a large Christmas dinner then some sitting in front of the telly. Break out the Cointreau :-)
