Kirkstone pass

Coming back from LOH in London we decided to come up the west side. Lovely day until we got as far up as Manchester when it decided to rain. However SOLOH had never been to the Lake District so we decided to take a short detour despite the weather. At least it was quite atmospheric passing by Windermere, and exciting driving up the Kirkstone Pass in the mist and rain and finally alongside Ullswater before going back onto the M6 which was more terrifying than the Kirkstone Pass!
