Clouds over the hills

Traditional Christmas day walk today, despite the rain and the biting wind. So good to get some time with family even if it was only half the family. It doesn't mean we weren't thinking of the other half. Believe me they were high in our thoughts.

It was a medium length walk. Not too short, nor too long, but we were happy to get back to some warming coffee and tea before the usual big Christmas dinner. Managed to get a few photos including this one. It's was good to see a bit of directional light after all the flat tones we've seen recently.

Hope all my viewers and readers have a happy Christmas. I hate that 'merry' word. It's a word we only use at Christmas.
