St Annes pier

Following collection of the Christmas dinner from Marks & Spencer (and queueing for 10 minutes in the wrong place), we ventured out onto the pier at St Annes. The winds were so strong that it was difficult to walk out to sea and we were subsequently beaten back into the amusement arcade by driving rain. Just when Mark had retreated to the car with hypothermia the sun made a brief appearance and I took a few shots on the beach. It was raining again 20 minutes later.
