Christmas Eve - Bubbles, Nibbles and gift wrapping

Having been highly (well relatively) prepared for Christmas this year C & I promised Xmas eve would be nice and relaxing affair

Reality however intervened.... Xmas eve and we were still madly cleaning the house ready for tomorrow, as Mother-in-Law arrives I was as usual frantically attempting to put away the vacuum..... Albiet that rush was only necessary due to my previous hour sitting on the lounge floor madly wrapping C's gifts in paper (having had them in hiding many weeks hence)

But we had success, on rest, as the nibbles tray arrived, champagne flutes come out and we all managed to sit aside our scarily laden Xmas tree
