NUMBER 25

25 presents under the tree...plus lots beside it, in front of it and on it!! we must have been good after all!

Had a very late night early morning....got to bed at 1:30 after midnight mass....then this morning it was a quick dog walk and a breakfast before we headed up to the hospice. We had all had a good day and I'm so glad we were all together working in the restaurant (J was with his girlfriend but joined us early evening)....taking orders, serving food, chatting to patients and visitors and I really think it helped that we had walked in their shoes a bit after spending last Christmas as a visitor. The Rev even got to help out with the service in the chapel. We think and hope we made a difference today to a few people.
We got home at 4:00
# did a few pressies
# this is the silliest but most wanted present....a top hat for my 21 year old son....oh J (as Nana would say) you are so strange!
#we had a little buffet tea
# but Harvey was the most entertaining opening his presents ( the boys are going to make him into a YouTube superstar)
#.....and wearing his hats!.."it's just not funny..woof"
