Fort DeRussy

Our traditional walk today brought us to Fort DeRussy, a Civil-War era fort in Rock Creek Park. It is, in the sense that darap and ZA use the word, ruinous.

This was followed by too much food, some (but not enough) conversations on Skype, and too much beer. Still in the throes of the latter...and mince pies. And, surprisingly, pear and nutella pies. Surprising because delicious.
