Huhu Beetle

The Huhu (who who) Beetle (Prionoplus reticularis) is the largest endemic and heaviest beetle in New Zealand and grow up to 5 cm in size. Often these are found flying around the outside light at night . Once the grub becomes a beetle it does not eat and only lives for about 2 weeks.
