Yesterday's Flowers

These are the dwarf scarlet runner bean flowers that I abstracted yesterday, when the light was so poor. Conditions were a little better today. Nevertheless, it was gloomy and wet. My son and I went to Christchurch to meet my daughter and her bloke. I treated us all to a Christmas lunch to save my daughter, as well as myself, the stress of putting on a dinner. Afterwards we skyped my granddaughter in Montreal, which was the highlight of day. It was so lovely to see her and talk with her.
