Food and family

Thanks to Jamie's midnight vomiting episode, my expectations were set fairly low for Christmas Day - if we could just manage to get through the day without all 4 of us coming down with the dreaded d&v bug I'd be delighted.

As it turns out, the projectile vomiting appears to have been excitement rather than virus based, kids stayed in bed till 7am, our lovely family were happy to risk vomiting children to come and spend the day with us (I have no idea what I'd have done with the 12lb turkey otherwise!), all presents were enjoyed and the first Christmas dinner I've cooked in years was lovely and surprisingly stress free!
