A warm surprise!

I am today thankful for smaller things in life but things that mean a great deal. I am thankful for my good friends, girraffes and birthday presents.

I had a warm surprise when I went to bed in the early hours after falling asleep on the sofa (and you can all clean your minds up!). It wasn't a warm surprise it was actually boiling!

My hot water bottle burst, so wetting my bed and running hot on my feet i then kicked it out of bed then panicking it was running in the electric extension cable!

So out of bed, leaking bottle in the bath and I located my new one a good friend had given me for my birthday in the form of a giraffe.

So my warm surprise wasn't such a disaster.
