The Streams run full

It rained all day yesterday, most of the day before, and it has rained all day today so far. Still we wrapped up, armed ourselves with umbrellas and walked down to the lake. The stream shown here is usually dry in summer, and I have never seen it as full or as fast as this. Looking up at the hills around we could see several waterfalls.

We stopped in one of the local bars on the lake front for lunch. The lady running the bar said we were lucky it was not snow, since if this much water had fallen as snow we would be buried. Returned to the flat and remained warm and snug for the rest of the evening.

We had a brief power outage this morning when we used more current than we are currently set up to be provided with. We could arrange to have a higher power supply but normally it is fine, so we will just leave it as it is.
