This is North Yorkshire

Beautiful, isn't it? I'm from South Yorkshire, so I can't be accused of being biased. As you can see we haven't suffered from the terrible weather other parts of the UK have been experiencing; it was a sunny, frosty day today, cold but with not a breath of wind. S and I went up Clay Bank to Chop Gate (please pronounce Chop Yat), and this is the view from the pub car park. We had a very nice lunch (more excellent home-made chips) in the pub and stopped off in Stokesley on the way back to buy some eggs. Now we're using left-over turkey and stuffing to make Paul Hollywood's Boxing Day pie.
