Welly's Big Adventure

Here's Wellington at first light on Boxing day morning....keen and alert - unlike his owner!
Rewind a little less than 24 hrs and I can now reveal the great xmas day drama. Welly escaped....never having even been off his lead before. Straight through the carelessly ajar conservatory doors and high tailed it into adjoining fields, quickly disappearing from view...
We searched and called his name fruitlessly for an hour, during which time I evaporated into an emotional wreck.
Then he just appeared at the front door..a bit wet but seemingly quite happy about his festive scouting mission....:-)
