Boxing Day match

An unexpected 'gift' of two spare tickets meant that I got to go to the Boro game on Boxing Day for the first time in years. I used to be a season ticket holder but parental taxi duties get in the way of regular football attendance these days. Jack enjoyed the game, despite the cold and even better - we saw them win! Now that doesn't happen very often.

These are the gates from the old Ayresome Park ground, maybe brought the few miles down the road to remind us how far the club has come!
