Woolie wonder

This is a Wool Carder Bee, we have a handful of them in our garden through the summer.
They are amazing charismatic little bees, who 'card' fibres off the lambs ear plant to build the nest cells.
The males are fiercely territorial and will roll round the lawn fighting to defend their ladies!!!
