Macaws!

This afternoon we were travelling back from Nanny's and stopped at the lovely town of Kirby Stephen. We saw the most fabulous and strange sight of a small flock of macaws! It seems that a gentleman called John Strutt owned them, but felt they should be wild and free. My photo, as I am sure you will agree, does not do justice to the beautiful and colourful winged creatures, but I can assure you, that is what is silhouetted in the trees. It was certainly a sight to see when they started flying around!
