Lit Up

My approach to the day was to just appreciate the moments. It was a very mindful sort of plan.

And for the first few minutes it worked beautifully, as if I had choreographed the whole thing... but it was fools gold, it was just a tease for what was to come.

It wasn't until 4pm this afternoon that life finally settled down, and when it did, I came across this simple seasonal candle.

I love the late afternoon sun, and though it wasn't out all day, it lit this little guy up in a way that just captured for me, what I was hoping to see all day.
