Gift...

I love this ceramic vessel...

I bought it while doing my Christmas shopping, thinking I would give it to someone in the family, but I have decided to keep it for myself.
It is handmade by a lady over on the West Coast, and she does a series of them. Some are decorated with Cowboy illustrations, some with ancient Mariner ones as this one is.
As I purchased it from my favourite shop in Lyttleton I quite liked the connection to the sea.
