'Twas the Day after Christmas

‘Twas the day after Christmas
No time to rest
there was so much to do
should we go shopping? No…
was the refrain! So 2 of the dad’s
took the kids to burn off some
energy while bouncing around, while
their wives shopped for groceries and
enjoyed a nice lunch.

New mama, papa and baby
decided to sleep
and enjoy a quiet morning while
lounging at home doing things
on their own.

Granny and Grandad stayed home
as well. Once the morning fog lifted,
and the temperatures rose, to a balmy
35. They both chose their own path,
Grandad on his motorcycle to explore
Granny headed out to the store

To cap off the day, the family
all gathered for frozen yogurt,
conversation, hugs laughter.
Another day over, time to head
home and tuck some little ones
in. Hope to enjoy a few more
days together before the holidays
end.
