Acres of Diamonds

I took my Mum out for a drive this afternoon. My step-dad is not doing well and she seemed to be quite down. I thought a beach front drive would be just the ticket. It was.

This view of Pilot Bay at Mount Maunganui caught my eye; the sun sparkling across the water like millions of diamonds and the dark storm clouds gathering in the distance created quite an eerie feeling.
