Garry Rubens
Street art is scant in Batemans Bay, and so it was a pleasure to see Garry at work in town today. He has local connections, but his principal purpose in being here is to collect a wage for his work from the tourists over the summer holidays. Garry travels a bit, and has made his mark on pavements across Europe - in Rome and Barcelona, for example; he is planning to spend some time in Canberra early next year, before heading for Canada. Garry calls the work I found him completing today "Lion and Tiger Hunting".
