Day with the in-laws

We spent today with Chris' family - one of whom had food poisoning on Christmas Day but was well enough to join us for some of the day.

I should have taken a photo of my salmon rolls, something I only ever have once a year at my in-laws but really enjoy. This year there was only me that wanted them so I had plenty to myself, yum!

I also tried on my bridesmaid dress, shrug and shoes. It's a very forgiving dress around the stomach area which is a pleasant surprise - it won't matter too much if I'm accidentally glutened and am bloated. The bust is a little small though so we're going to see if we can get the next size up. Another bridesmaid has this size so I tried hers on and it's much better - don't really want lots of cleavage on show for a wedding!

As I forgot to photograph anything whilst we were there, I instead took a photo of my favourite gift from the day, this intriguing liqueur that I am very much looking forward to trying.
