One Thousand!!!

Blips! No Gaps! Excuse me whilst I step back in amazement.

I can't quite believe I have managed this other than by dropping photography standards and having days when there's nothing else for it but an emergency blip but I suppose that's the price I have to pay to have a journal entry as it's the journal that is the important part for me these days.

Being able to click on any date since April 2011 and be able to sneak a glimpse of what happened that day (or not if my write up has been very lazy! :) is a very special thing.

Not going to prattle on, mainly because we are off to Ele's for Christmas Day No 2 (and belated celebration of Ele's birthday, which was yesterday and my niece's birthday on Christmas Eve) but what I do want to say is whilst the journal part of blip is very important to me, it's the Blip Community and the friendships I have made (and continue to make) that have kept me going over the last 1000 days.

You are all a very special bunch of people and it is a joy and privilege to share this journey with you. Thank you, each and every one who pops in and leaves comments, stars and hearts.

I am being a rubbish blip pal at the moment as life gets in the way but I have promised myself a blip day on Monday, where I shall do nothing but eat, drink and spend many happy hours catching up with you all.

But for now I must head out into the wild weather.....there's a gin with my name on it awaiting me in Kirkintilloch!
