Kilcreggan
I think I may have to ask Santa for an AGA next year ! It evens dries wet socks!
While everyone was taken for a walk up a big hill I nipped over to check on my mum and dad's house. It's empty now, and I couldn't help but think of previous boxing days we spent there. Sitting about, eating our Selection Boxes, mum making Turkey Soup, Dad watching 'The Great Escape' on TV - red candle burning in the window. It breaks my heart when I go there now.
I met up with the main team at Kilcreggan on the Roseneath pennisula. Overlooking the River Clyde and the Gare Loch. A beautiful day with a few showers. That's how we found out how good the AGA was !
Leftover buffet and trifle splendidly served up by F and G. Then chilling in front of the TV. Mr S was given a remote control helicopter - and there were more than a few crash landings !
Here's No 1 and No 2 in a moment of sibling solidarity !
