Boxing Day

Does anyone know why it's called Boxing Day?

These are my daughter's two evil cats ... although to be fair only the black one is evil (well he scratches the furniture and digs out the sealant around the windows) the other cat is nicknamed "fat cat". Can you guess why?!

In the background is the wooden casket containing Freya's ashes. We took her in as a stray when she was an adult and she shared her home with us for a further ten years or so!! She was evil too at times ... but only on days ending with a "y" !!
