THE FIDDLER!

This weekend is the first Cabot Trail Writers Festival, here on Cape Breton Island. This evening, Terry and I went to a very fun Literary Cabaret where we were entertained by the wonderful Newfoundland writer, Donna Morrissey. Then Otis and 3 others played music for the last part of the evening. One of the fiddlers was an amazing young woman from Orkney...she's here to participate in the annual Celtic Colours Festival that starts in a week or so!

Tomorrow i'll attend a full day of workshops - not that i'm planning to become a writer as such.....but i have had a passion for writing (and reading) for many years and just feel the call to head off to explore what creativity i might be able to find!!!

I'll be up early to get there for 9am!
