I needed a little more of the calm work time that I described on Wednesday, so I came into the office, today. I think it's the first time I've come into the office at the weekend all year. Which is good.

It was nice and warm inside, and I drank coffee and listened to Christmas songs (and worked!) while the strong wind played with the building's deep acoustics and the rain flayed the windows.

This was my view of the Kent on the occasions that I peered outside looking for clarity and inspiration.
