So today, Lady Arrowsmith's birthday, started in a slightly strange fashion at 06.30 with Teddy the cat absolutely destroying our Christmas Tree. Now, bless him, the jury - you guys - need to decide on what made him do this deed right in front of my very eyes.

1. Because he was as surprised as I was that England had taken another wicket and had had a decent day in the 4th Test?
2. Because he knew it was Lady Arrowsmith's birthday and the furball knew Christmas was done & dusted?
3. Because he had just joined the rock band Metallica and simply wanted to smash the place up?
4. He was simply off his whiskers?
