Sun Setting Over Nice Port

RobT has been doing one of his photo exercises for his degree which meant he had to go out every hour from sunrise to sunset taking a photo of the same thing.

I resisted the urge to get up at sunrise but I did spend some time this afternoon being photographic companion and as we were still out as the sunset I took the opportunity to capture the beautiful golden light.

Today has been a complete contrast to Christmas Day with glorious winter sunshine and even sunbathers on the beach.
