A bit of a competition

Today the weather was BAD again so no way was I going out, I had plenty of things to do indoors anyway.
I'd bought a bag of hyacinth bulbs a few weeks ago, so when I was on the attic getting the decorations down I looked out my old glass hyacinth jars not used them since the children were small.
I put 3 bulbs on the jars of water and the 2 remaining in a pot.
The ones on water are coming on nicely the potted ones are barely showing green.
Will be interesting to see as time goes on how they develop.
