A big step

This photo might not look like much but for me it's a big deal. Tonight, four days ahead of deadline I've sent off the first 10,000 words of my first novel. I feel excited, scared, nervous and jittery all in one.
At the start of the year I hoped my novel would be finished by now but there is no accounting for the events life throws your way.
The man who told me to write this novel is very sadly no longer with us but I hope this will make him proud.
It's out there now so I just have to see what comes back. Fingers crossed!
