One month "down the line".

The weather's not, exactly, conducive to hunting shots and in a couple of days it'll be a month since I discovered these growths.

Then the one with the reddish hue was barely level with the top leaf.

Like all "kids": blink a time or two and they're up.
Three spikes between them: two new, and one "engineered" so to speak. Evidently, timely beheading can
produce the desired effect, even if to a lesser degree.

Besides which I have a new Santa toy which I thought I'd put to a use it wasn't designed for to see how it worked.
