........name on the trophy..........

Watched this today......Christmas present from the Boss.

It looks at the history of Giggs, the Nevilles, Butt, Scholes and Beckham and the 1998/99 season.

Thoroughly enjoyed it...and not just because I'm a United fan.....because it looks at six ordinary lads who are still mates to this day...and who despite what the Press say still have their feet firmly on the ground....and it has some funny bits too.

The only iffy bit is when that pillock Blair gets involved.....he only just falls short of claiming their success was down to his government.....he definitely claims it was his government that created the conditions for them to achieve so much.....nothing about their abilities....and when he talks about the 1999 Champions League Final and getting messages relayed to him while he was in a meeting with the Queen....it's definitely bs....he can't even remember the name of the competition....or who United were playing that night.

Mind you this is the man who claimed to be a Newcastle United fan....and said he remembered standing on the terraces watching Jackie Milburn playing....Blair was born in Edinburgh in 1953....the family moved to Adelaide Australia....then back to Glasgow in 1958....and eventually to Durham in 1961....and Jack Milburn retired in 1957!....so exactly when did Blair watch him?...did he travel down from Edinburgh as an infant?.....or fly back from Australia every weekend....or was he tellimg fibs.

Any way rant over.....if you get the chance watch it....even if you're not a United fan...especially the bit about Gary Neville sending a guitar to Noel Gallagher asking for it to be signed.

Blip meet with hebs and Drama Queen tomorrow.....looking forward to it lots.

Das vidanya moy padruga.
