It's a long long road...

We had quite a journey up to Poulton Le Fylde today, we set off at 10am and a journey that should have taken us 4 hours tops, took 6 and a half. Thanks largely to everyone else doing the same thing, the M6 and the high winds. We were just thankful to arrive safely at the end of it.

Once here we've had a lovely time catching up with T's parents and brothers, partners and cousin Alexander. C and he had a ball playing together. More presents, a lovely buffet, lots of catching up later and we're all ready to fall into bed...

And when we came up to check on batman I think his sleeping pose perfectly summed up our exhausting day!
