River Cherwell

Spent a very enjoyably afternoon catching up with the Oxford branch of the family.
After eating (as of course we were all hungry!!) several of us went out with the dog. The exercise and fresh air on a beautifully bright day was very welcome.
The chosen path unfortunately was well trodden and after the amount of rain there has been it was incredibly slippery too. Nevertheless we all stayed upright, just :-)

This shot shows the river Cherwell with broken banks plus the Oxford canal joining it somewhere!? The pathways of each not easily recognisable to the unfamiliar.
