Today is day two of the cold remedy I have always sworn by. I make this elixir toddy that is pretty good.
Mint tea, lemon juice (fresh) honey and wait for it...........Southern Comfort.
This is a type of whiskey I am using because I am out of Jameson's. I don't think an American whiskey is working as well as an Irish whiskey I have to be honest. So I had one this afternoon and JUST to be sure I am having another now.
As I said on my facebook post this morning: Does it work? Like I care at this point.

We went to Pineland Farms to buy chicken pies. I feel too gross to make them. On the way back my husband pointed out a few places that would make great pictures. We stopped at this one. Across the street are sugar maples which will soon be tapped for syrup. I can't wait to share those. No sap running now it was wicked chilly in the snow. I walked on top of the snow and didn't sink 2 feet down because of the ice.

Well tomorrow the tree comes down. It will take all day. Unless I need more medicinal toddies.
