Christmas Morning

The girls woke just before 8 o'clock this morning after some much needed sleep. Father Christmas had filled their stockings, munched on his mince pie (although he left an awful mess of crumbs) and drained his glass of the single malt left out for him! The reindeer didn't seem impressed with their carrot this year and had only nibbled it a little - of course they may have been fed up with carrots by the time they got here.

After the stockings and breakfast we walked to the church on what was a lovely bright, sunny but slightly chilly morning. Then back home to get the dinner started and to open the Christmas presents.
