A Sweet Spot In The City

Went into the city today with my younger son to have lunch and check out the sales.

There were no great hordes of mad shoppers, things were fairly quiet wherever we went and I didn't see one thing worth buying which was definitely good for my purse :)

This fountain is in a small tree shaded square that is surrounded by skyscrapers in the central city area. It's cool and lovely and as it was quite warm we stopped off here for a little rest.

I loved the way the water made a transparent curtain and the slice of the city in the background looked a bit like Toytown :)
