Coming or Going?

Having stayed at home all day yesterday, I'm not sure if the River Isla here is rising or falling after all the rain we had! It's certainly burst its banks again, although, fortunately, it's downhill from us and the only problem is if it floods the road and prevents us getting out of town.

We were able to drive into our local town today to stock up on half-price Christmas cards from the charity shops for next year. I always feel a bit mean doing this, so end up putting all my spare change in their collection boxes - which may mean the cards weren't such a bargain after all:-)

Looking forward to the final part of "Death Comes to Pemberley" tonight, even though I've read the book and know whodunnit! What have you enjoyed on TV over Christmas?
