Esthetic Eider!

A very blustery walk down to the harbour at Pitenweem in the early afternoon - gulls and eider ducks were seeking sanctuary within the harbour walls. There was so much turbulence on the water the birds were bobbing like corks. Eiders don't usually come in quite so close but refuge from the raging wind was obviously necessary.
