After a few years of avoiding watching the DVD's by always having "something else to do" I decided it was my turn to take Ewan to the festive Singing Kettle show at the Albert Halls in Stirling where we were told to take santa hats and yes a bucket?!?

So after a pizza lunch in town it was off to the show to join a hundred or so other daddy's to sit patiently through (actually enjoy) the show.

Many songs, clapping of hands and tapping of feet later it was over but at least daddy felt so much younger and if truth be told he rather enjoyed himself....even if he was thinking the bucket was for them to give us sweets instead of just turning it upside down to tap on.

Between this and a panto in the last few weeks I'm not doing my reputation of a being a dour boring sod much good.
