Aberdeen beach in the wind.

Trip up to Aberdeen today. Real windy weather! The leaves were being whipped up into a frenzy on the streets and the spray was rising up off of the waves causing lots on mini rainbows everywhere. Add to that the sand making patterns as it blew along and it was really quite spectacular.

I was having to use shutter speeds that were about 3x the normal to get a shake free image. Would have been good to have a tripod with me - but I'm not sure it would have mattered. It would probably have blown over like the rest of us.

Anyway, a good day was had by all.
