Butter+milk

Been a while since I'd made red velvet cakes, piping skills bit rusty but tasted good. I've been boycotting Asda but as I couldn't find buttermilk at the first three supermarkets I ended up there. The checkout guy was in a jovial mood and went 50p is okay (it was 52p). He was being nice but I had given 55p so I'll have my change thank you. Boycott back on.
