Lever's........Great Central Railway

Today Lyns, Sedge, PaulaK and ME decided on a trip to the Great Central Railway for a lovely day feeling vintage!
It was very cold but a lovely clear blue sky which made for excellent steam!
Having said that my dad got us into the signal box for a look around while the gentleman inside was working the levers. He was very helpful and explained things to us while pushing and pulling the levers! It looks very complex.
The other big bonus was that he had a lovely warm stove going which was very cosy and we didnt want to leave and go back out in the cold.

All in all a super day and many many photos taken...I couldnt decide which ones to blip. I will flickr some later but I keep running out of time!
