Great Ocean Road

We left Mt Gambier fairly early not before though some quick Skype calls home to the UK.

I'd seen on Facebook, Hull and the surrounding area were flooding again. My mum was hit with it in 2007, it was lots of stress and they were out of their home for 14 months. Luckily this time they were all ok, so was R's mum. Phew!

After filling up with fuel (and a few moments of not knowing what fuel the x trail was... Cue nose end down the petrol hose, we figured it out... It was petrol and the diesel would not have fitted the pipe) we headed off on our way to our first stop, Port Fairy. A short meander and a spot of lunch we were on our way again.

Not far out of Port Fairy we met the Great Ocean Road!

We jumped out at every viewing point, clicked away and jumped back in the car again.

By the time we reached our night stop of Port Campbell we had already realised 3 days was not enough!

Fish and chips by the beach and a couple of beers as sundowners topped of a great day!
