I had a lovely day today. A lazy start then into Glasgow to see the Jack Vettriano exhibition at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. Loved it! No photography allowed, but really interesting. Whether you like his art or not, Jack Vettriano has achieved something special.

Personally, I do like his art. He is accused of using women as objects, but his women are sexy and they know it! They are not subordinate. I like the way he creates highly charged and very structured moments... his paintings encourage the mind to create the story...

I am no art critic... I only know what stirs something in me... feel free to disagree! But if you are in the vicinity, do go and see it!

After the exhibition, time for a wander about then off to visit a relative of my husband's who lives in the West End...
