bells, bells, bells...

...ring, ring, ring

is what i thought - upon sighting this little blossom - as it swayed gently - on the cactus plant

and just like that - no sooner had i snapped a photo of it - did it fall to the floor - done with - over - the delicate bloom given up - although it wasn't done with giving pleasure - sometime's that's simply the way it is with these flowers - they fall off - before they should - it's a balance i don't really understand - but i'm glad i caught this one before it fell - heard the music it was destined to give - to provide for...
