Protected Pansy

I found a group of pansies that survived our -10F ( C) night a few weeks ago by being under the 8 inches of snow that fell the previous night.

It seems our mild misty weather the last week or so has brought them back to life.

Mid-winter flowers give me a little boost and my hat is off to them for being heroes.
